The Context
The leadership of OceanX, a non-profit ocean exploration initiative, aimed to increase their global education offerings, and build out a team committed to nurturing lasting connection to the ocean and pathways that empower the next generation of ocean leaders.
What we did
AnnMarie was brought in to help design and pilot a variety of OceanX Education programming, and to aid in the recruitment and hiring for a full-time team based in Singapore.
Over this time frame, the following new OceanX Education programs were launched: Early Career Explorers, "Exploring the Ocean" lesson books localized to multiple countries, Livestream Q&As with FIRST LEGO League teams, OceanX Education Hackathons, Young Explorers Livestreams, the Ocean Portal immersive media program, on-ship Classroom Connects, Portside Education Tours of the R/V OceanXplorer, and OceanX VR programming.
